I have not received my PR card and i have pre booked travel for my sis wedding , i am a british citizen and i have the waiver will it be an offence to come back using the waiver

I'm not sure what you mean by waiver. You need either a valid PR card or PRTD to board a plane. Alternatively you can fly to the US and re-enter through a land border.

thank you for the response As a British Citizen i have a valid ETA Electronic Travel Authorization which i have been using to travel in out to Canada

Generally eTAs are automatically canceled once you become a PR. You can roll the dice and hope the eTA is still valid when you are boarding your return flight but will need a backup plan if it's not.

Already mentioned. PRTD or fly to the US and re-enter Canada through a land border crossing.
