Not received passport request

Hello everyone,

We had applied under NOC 0213 in NY, Buffalo.

We received a letter from CIC saying our interview is waived and to submit our medical records. We submitted our medical records and the records reached CIC on Feb 2nd 2011. We also sent the landing fee draft to CIC.

Its been close to 5 months now. We have still not heard anything from CIC about passport request. Can someone, who shares the similar timelines, please confirm if they received the Passport request or can someone through their experience, suggest by when we should get the passport request?

Eagerly waiting for the response, as my wife has got a job offer from Canada & we need to confirm the tentative dates when she can join.

Wait the month of June for the PP request..if not received then order CAIPS.

You will probably get it soon. We did medicals in November 2010 and got PPR in May 2011. Be patient, you may have another almost 30 days wait to get passport back from NY after submission of passports.

Yes, New York office had seemed to send PP request in 6 months. So wait is the best option. COmplete 6 months and then if nothing is received, order CAIPS.
