Hi,

There is nothing to panic. Please give atleast three months for the AOR to come. Looks like the general trend now is 3 months.Wait for 3-4 months I would say then contact CIC.

Regards,

AP

Don't worry! friend You will get AOR after 3-4 month. Because of high volume in emabasy, it will be late.I applied aug -2007 and get AOR after 7 month. At that time my draft was invalid. they return my draft to rewrite the date and other document.they receive my file within one week.Once again don't worry.

You have the same day they received mine, and still I don't have AOR, but is not 3 or 4 months so far, this is a waiting game, keep packing and continue to prepare your documentation, still is a lot faster than US, I have waiting 8 years for my residence here and still nothing.

You cant benckmark your friend's application against everyone else's. I also applied in London earlier this year and mine took a lot longer than that

By the way what kind of documents have they asked him to send on 1st October?

Form 008, form 5146. schedule 1 & 6 all documents in Appendix A to IMM 4000E, Identity & Civil status documents,Children's information,Police certificates,Background documents,Travel Documents,Photos,Settlement funds etc.

If your case is finalised just letus know yor experience, what was the time limit.

Sure mate, i'll keep the forum posted on the developments. But are you sure your friend applied in FSW Category?

If all the dates you've given are 2008 dates, then I should be thinking why I havent heard from them yet!

Adnan you earlier said "I also applied in London earlier this year and mine took a lot longer than that"

Again you say "If all the dates you've given are 2008 dates, then I should be thinking why I havent heard from them yet! "

Which is the right one...I thought your case had been decided.

Yes, it took me longer to get an AOR but I havent mentioned any DATES on this forum, I just said it took longer than your 'benchmark' time i.e. 8 weeks.

And what makes you presume that my case has been decided. None of my posts mentions that either. If you know how the FSW process works then you will definitely know that receiving an AOR is not a 'decision'; I've just got a place in the queue, thats all.
