Did you get your PR then?
After advices from several people, I decided to submit my EE with my bachelor's and not my master's. Still waiting to get the 1-year of Canadian experiences to apply for EE.

I'm in a similar boat.

When I applied for a study permit, I didn't mention that I had a master's degree because the one I took had nothing to do with the career path I was looking for in Canada. Now I'm on a PGWP, I already submitted my express entry profile hoping I can get an ITA before completing the 1-year experience in Canada. I did ECA for my master's, not my bachelor's.

Some months ago I paid an immigration lawyer to help me create a clear path for my PR. I mentioned this case and asked if I was going to get in trouble for not mentioning the master's during my study permit process but using it for my express entry profile. The lawyer said it shouldn't be a problem and advised to get the ECA for the master. But now I get to this thread and generates some concern in me.

Any suggestions?
Hi there,
Did you add your Master degrre to your PR application?

Hey brother, in your pgwp application, did you say you have done master's, or you just went with bachelors?

Hey can someone help with the below case:

In short, I have a 4 year bachelor degree and I started a masters and dropped out after 5 months in the US. In the education section in the study permit application (for masters in Canada), I mentioned the Bachelors degree but not the incomplete masters as my highest level of education, thinking this section only referred to completed degrees.

With EE, I have to mention the incomplete masters in personal history section. Does this account for misrepresentation? I plan on addressing it in a LOE anyways but who has been through something similar?

If you got ECA, then it is true and will not misrepresent.

Misrepresentation is only for altered documents and “new” employment documents. Education documents with ECA is not considered misrepresentation

Hi, I need a genuine advice from people. I came to Canada in September 2021 as a student. I applied my student visa in Feb 2021, got refusal in first week of March 2020 and the process halted because of Covid. I re-applied for student visa in July and deffered my program multiple times and finaly got my visa approved for September 2021 intake. During all that process I was pursuing MBA from distance learning which I was not sure about because of Covid and the slow process of everything. So, I did not mention about my MBA in my SOP while applying for student visa. However, When I reached Canada in Novemner 2021, the next month in December 2021 I got my MBA completed and recieved my Degree. When I got my WES done, I mentioned MBA in it and it has been accepted by WES. Now when I applied for my PR through EE with the help of and immigration lawyer he said we can still mention it in the profile as it was not completed when I came here, but I am a little dicey about this. I need some suggestions and help if possible.

Not a problem. will go through

Hey, thanks for giving me the confidence, but may I please know how? And I applied study visa in Feb 2021 not 2010, I miss-typed.
As long as the credentials are verified by WES, it’s acceptable. Evidence presented in court is valued, as the truth ultimately prevails. However, if you previously stated something different instead of a master’s degree and are now concealing that to present a master’s degree, it can cause problems, but if you are lucky it will go through.

Alright, thanks for your advice, but is there another option to be safe? And how worse the problem can be if arises?
