Hello guys. Please help. When we submitted the Canadian trv, we made a big mistake. The statement of account shows a balance of about 20000. But on the application form we wrote 2000 instead. The visa application center did it for us and they told us it doesn't matter since there is proof of funds. Is this true? And is the mistake going to cost us?

I am applying for my trv to visit my husband in Canada. My spousal immigration is still under process. To show my funds in Pakistan,I am showing a joint account owned by me and my mother. This account has a handsome sum of money.

My question is : is it ok to show this account or should I show an account which is owned solely by me? The reason I want to show the joint account is cz it has a good amount of money

I think you should be honest and show only your account not anybody's. Or transfer their money into yours to make it high

APAK,

I believe joint account is fine if your mother will write a letter saying that she does not mind that you will use money from this account to cover all expenses related to your trip to Canada. However, you still need to prove (if it is not clear from the bank statements) that money on this account came from legal source (like salary, business profit , etc.).
