NOT FLAGPOLING - GOING TO US FOR PASSPORT STAMP AND TO LAND

Any advise. We are going to get the passport stamped in Buffalo and then coming back across into Canada. We are bringing my husband's truck with us to import (it has US plates)....any advise, tips???
