What is the repercussions of not enrolling in school after you enter Canada due to a circumstances beyond your control. And you decided to enrol in next academic year. Please need ur advice.

After 90 days your study permit becomes invalid and you no longer have status in Canada.

Thanks for your reply, what of as soon as you enter Canada and you get job offer before 90 days and decided to change ur status or u Change ur status to visitor before the 90 days. is it possible to do that? and when you do that, will u still loose your status in Canada? Need your advice once again dear

You can certainly try to change your status to visitor - however there is no guarantee this change of status will be approved. CIC may feel you have used the student visa to gain access to Canada and deny the change of status to visitor.

You should note that if you are successful in changing your status to visitor - you will not be allowed to work in Canada. Visitors can only visit. Working as a visitor is illegal.
