Not enough travel history

I am 42 yr old self employed single mother of two. I have not travelled abroad for the last 8 years except for a weeklong holiday to Mauritius last month. I have shown sufficient funds , investments and strong family tiesback home. will my visitor visa be granted? The paucity of travel history is worrisome

It's still possible to be approved if you can demonstrate strong ties to your home country (e.g. property, employment, etc.). Keep your trip short (2-3 weeks at most). Will your children be traveling with you or remaining at home? If remaining at home, that will increase your home ties.

They will be staying back as they are in college and high school respectively.
