He said CLB 7, which is 16.
Thus, overall score is 66.

You should make your spouse take IELTS or retake it yourself.
I guess he was trying to say average 7, not CLB level 7.. CLB level 7 means 6 in all four attributes of the test.. but he mentioned different score in the earlier message..

Hi all,

Need your expertise in the below.

I have applied for express entry program with the below details

Primary occupation code 2283
Total experience 9 years

IELTS score
Listening – 7.0
Reading – 7.5
Writing – 6.0
Speaking – 7.5

The above score translates to CBL – 7

I have done my Masters and also provided an ECA for the same which equates to Canadian master's degree. I am applying with my spouse. My spouse does not have her IELTS, nor an ECA for her education. Don't know if this matters?

THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE TO ACCEPT UR PROFILE IN EE POOL.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!
U MIGHT BE UPDATED UR INFORMATION IN DIFFERENT PLACE COLUMNS......!!! PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK

After submitting my profile I have immediately received a message in my CIC account saying I am not eligible for express entry, in fact I started my application going via the eligibility tool.

The reasons stated were as below.

• not having a valid language test
• language test results that are more than two years old
• a language test score that is too low
• not having enough relevant work experience
• not having the required education level
• not having enough funds

Would appreciate if someone can guide me.

Note: I submitted my application on Apr 11th around 14:00 hours GMT, but immediately received an reply dated April 12th in my CIC account saying I am not eligible.

Thanks in advance

BTW, did you provide your ECA and IELTS results reference/Certificate Number while you created your profile?
Thanks Hamidur for all your help.

One thing I am not getting is when I go through the eligibility tool, they say I am eligible and the details provided during eligibility are converted and used in the application. Then why again this check at last level?

I have given all my ECA & IELTS details in the application.

Regards

The reason I mentioned CBL 7 is i could not find any calculator that would translate my exact scores to CBL score. Thus went with the bare minimum.

Thanks

Hi Hamidur,

And my experience

Company 3 2010- till date

Did you claim points for bachelors? In that case you might need ECA for that too.

How many points do you get on the following based on the FSWP grid? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Age -
Education -
Language skills -
Experience -
Adaptability -
Arranged employment - Count this only if you have LMIA supported job offer.

I have a total of 73 points based on my calculation.
Provide the break-up for those 73 points on he 6 parameters. Remember to count experience gained under a single NOC, you can;t mix and match under FSW.

I think you have sufficient points even without adding your Canadian relatives. If you're still deemed ineligible, probable reasons could include an expired IELTS (2 years validity), expired ECA, Proof of funds mentioned below required amount.

If all of the above is fine, try using a fresh mail id and GCKey to register. Maybe repeating the old id is causing this.

I already revoked my GC account and try to register. but all my EE result was ineligible. I have enough funds and ielts taken last deccember 2014 and eca last February 2015. When I was submitted my EE profile all messages from MYCIC are:

• not having a valid language test
• language test results that are more than two years old
• a language test score that is too low
• not having enough relevant work experience
• not having the required education level
• not having enough funds

Do you have 6+ years of experience under the same NOC?

Are you putting in the right amounts of funds?
