Hi,
Checking if I'm eligible for EE on cic site, returned I'm not eligible. I have BSc, I'm 34 years old, single, my NOC level skill is A and I have more than 6 yrs job expirence. My IETLS results are R 8.5, L 6, W 6, S 6. I don't have relative and I never worked/lived/studied in Canada.
My IETLS results meet with the minimum required, so how come I'm not eligible for the EE?

Thanks,
Annabelle

How much did you score under the six selection factors for FSW? You have to have more than 67/100 points.

How much money did you mention you would bring? Did you select Quebec?

PS: There was a draw today and many of us are yet to get invitations and it's taking awfully long. May be the system has glitches and that's why the eligibility is going haywire.

The tool says I have 325 points.
I chose the highest money option (above 32k I think).

When I changed the IETLS results of writing, speaking and listening from 6 to 6.5 I was eligible for EE, but if the minimum is 6, why it's not enough?

Thanks!

Manually calculate your FSW points as 325 would be at the lower end of the FSW grid.

Qualifying is a 2-stage process. You have to qualify for FSW, and for EE. Under FSW, you have to get a minimum score of 67 points on the FSW selection factors; you get an extra point if you go from CLB 7 to CLB 8.

Thanks for the help, I just want to make sure I entered the correct IELTS results

When asking to fill language results (I chose in the previous step IELTS) should I fill the IELTS results or convert it to CLB and enter this?

Thanks!

Hi! You need to improve IELTS, try to get be 7 7 7 8 to. If even one of IELTS marks is below 7, you wont get enough CRS points to ensure ITA. I had 8.5 8.5 7.5 6.5, couldnt get it until improved 6.5 to 7. Check CRS calculator with different IELTS result, its huge difference. Good luck!
