I have undeclared child but my PR is still under process and i feel guilty.

Writing my letter to inform IRCC. Is that a good Thing? my PR application will be impacted negatively?

As I have said before, failing to declare the child is misrepresentation. You have no choice but to declare.

If your application is still in progress then contact CIC to correct the lie.

Agreed. There is still time to fix this... Act immediately.

Will they reject my application on the ground that i have lied
Not likely IF YOU CORRECT IT BEFORE YOU LAND If your visa is granted and you land in Canada without notifying CIC then you will be committing fraud (by misrepresentation) and could see your PR revoked. And you will NEVER be able to sponsor your undeclared dependent.

There should not even be a question of whether or not you notify CIC. You have lied on your application and you must rectify that.

Seriously, people are so lax about this. I can't imagine one day having to tell my child that I can't help them immigrate into Canada because I didn't really feel like putting their name on a form when I was applying. So irresponsible.
