My status says Decision Made.

I'm wondering if the RQ could delay it?

it always delays it a bit since its one extra step
just relax you will get it soon

Hey guys,

Finally had my oath today at the Harry hays building. It was pretty straight forward: arrived about 30 mins earlier than the time indicated on oath letter. At 8 they started ushering people in the room after taking away PR Card and signing a few more papers. Ceremony started at about 8:30 am and lasted about an hour (there were 84 people taking oath). Main advice make sure you take the oath loud and clear even if it's in French as CIC staff go around the room to see if you are actually saying the oath words. If there is any suspicion that you did not, they have the right to refuse your citizenship (this happened to someone in Ottawa recently). Other than that it was a cool experience and glad the journey has come to an end.

Thanks to all for sharing timelines/advice as it has been a great moral anchor for this whole process!!! :)Good luck to all those who are waiting , it is only a matter of time before you receive good news!! Needles to say PATIENCE is the key word in this process!! :) I will try and remain active on here and provide any info I can. Below is my timeline. Cheers :)

All,

Any progress on Oaths for people
who gave tests in October, or will
Calgary office just keep them waiting ??

During your interview, did the officer give you a time window of less than two months for oath?

I think for some people time period given was one-two months

How about you? What time window did they give to you specifically? I'm asking because of this part of your original post "....or will Calgary office just keep them waiting ??, and also because the time line they gave in November was from 1 to 3 months. I know people who sat for their tests in October and they were given the same time line as me.

Hmmm, if that is the case for everyone (1-3 months), than it
is definitely my mistake. My apology.

No need to apologize, I was not questioning the validity of your inquiry at all, I was mostly curious in case you had been given different information by the officer.

Thanks for replying to my posts though.
