Thanks Zemm.
Are any other friend also encountering
delays for status changing from 'In Process'
to 'Decision made'. Its already 2 weeks for
me after test and my status still shows 'In Process'

SSV70/JANOO/ZEMM !

I received letter on july 30, 2015 to appear in test on Aug 12, 2015. and then another letter received dated aug. 06, 2015 on Aug 09 for finger prints requirement.
I did fingerprints on Aug.11, 2015 one day before test. then passed test on Aug. 12, 2015. still status is "In Progress".
Yesterday, I sent email to RCMP to know the status of my Fingerprints, they replied today that the FP result was sent to immigration calgary next day on Aug 12, 2015.
But still " In process" status. Should I contact CIC ?

hi everyone, does anyone have any idea why probably our oath taking ceremony letter never come?.. WE took the test and passed on April 28 , that is past over the 6 mos time frame. As of this date we have not received any.. My file has a "decision Made'' remarks but no oath taking letter whatsoever.

Our next dilemma is our PR due to expire next week and we have a travel by next month to the US.. We do not want to renew anymore our PR cards as it takes about 4 mos before it arrive!.

Any comment on this?.. This is really so frustrating and stressful waiting for the oath taking letter. I don't know whats going on.. I tried sending an Specific Case Enquiry about our application, someone just replied that a citizenship officer will get in touch with me "shortly"..

How short is "shortly". been two weeks, have not received any reply either..

Getting frustrated in here :(

Try calling the Call centre but honestly don't think if anyone here can tell you when it will happen

I think that if you renew your PR card and become a citizen shortly after they will reimburse you what you paid, at least thats what they did when I renewed our Work permit and became PR a couple of months later

good luck
