Hi Puda -

Was your Oath date updated on ECAS? Or did you get a letter in the mail?

My online status updated today for the Oath date, letter received was yesterday. ( Letter sent Oct 27, received Oct 29, online update Oct 30).

Oath date 13 Nov. Please be patient and wait...

I'm glad it has finally come to a favorable end....

Timeline:

Appl Received: Feb 2, 2015
AOR: March 8, 2015
In process: April 16, 2015
Test: Oct 29, 2015
Oath: Oct 29, 2015 (Harry hay's building)

I'm not 100% sure but it seemed like almost every other person I chatted with in my oath ceremony group were from Red Deer/Central Alberta (self inclusive). Maybe that's why they had everyone come in for oath same day. Some yyc folks may have been among because during the test the lady announced that everyone who passes will be asked to come in for the oath later in the day. Thanks for all the pieces of advice I got from this thread. Cheers

OMG Guys! I swear these guys update ecas at night. I checked at 10pm and there was nothing. Decided to check randomly again at 2am and i have my oath date!!!!! So excited! (Calgary office)

Dear Friends,

Has anyone of you who gave the test in 3rd or 4th week
of October in Calgary got Decision made???

Oldravian:

You need to see the application received date by CIC and not per the test date. Currently I see for people whose application was received on Nov/Dec2014 are being scheduled. This is my understanding;

My timeline is more or less equal to rock2004. I sent on Dec'14 and resent on Jan2015 due to less fee paid. Ecas says received Jan16th 2015. Test completed on 27th Aug2015. I am expecting mine to be scheduled around Nov 20ish or end of Nov'15.

It's worth noting that some people received that ECAS message ("we sent you correspondence...") and never actually received anything from CIC, only to get a new update with an test or oath date a few weeks later. I'd call CIC right away to ask for clarification, but wouldn't panic if you still haven't gotten the mail. You might consider requesting an ATIP as well as it can hint at what they might be looking for. Also, remember to check your email inbox and spam/junk folders as it could come by email.

I think that "Oldravian" has received the letter on AUg-6th as per his positing earlier; The request is finger print

Probably, then it is better to check whether or not CIC received your finger prints report. Anybody help in how to do this, call CIC
