For you all getting the oath letter, did you ecas updated with oath date before the letter arrived?
When I did the test my ecas just Ulysses a week after I've done it was very helpful haha

Yes, in my case the ecas is updated before the mail arrived. Same happened to my wife before as well

I have test date same as yours on October 29 at 1:30pm but i have not received letter yet. only ecas update. I live 2 & half hours away from Calgary but my test is scheduled in Calgary.

Can you please let me know what time is your test? maybe i ll get oath letter too same day.. .

Hi i applied Citizenship for my daughters who are under 14 on September 29 and got AOR ON 8th October, Any body knows how long its takes for minors mean processing time for minors to get citizenship.

Good morning All,

I kindly request website member/members to answer my questions below if anyone has similar experience or is currently experiencing.

1- During my online ecas account, I inadvertently pressed "update this address" button. Even though I did not change anything or deleted, and then went back to previous page. I am worried if my address has been deleted or changed.

2- AOR is in February and took the citizenship exam on August 13 in Calgary. Unfortunately no update so far or oath. Anyone from that exam time has also similar issue?

Waiting Oath:

People who have applied on Nov2014 have received the Oath letter and their ceremony is on Oct26 as per this forum. They also appeared for tests on Aug11th and 13th 2015.

Mine is; applied on Dec2014, received on Jan2015, Ack received by email on Mar2015 and appeared for test on 27th Aug2015, status changed to "Decision Made" on 1st Week of Sept2015 and still am waiting. My guess is probably at the end of Oct or beginning of Nov2015, my expetation as well

Waiting Oath:

I will look at the current address, that I see when logged in. If that address is correct then it should be fine; I changed or updated the address once for "clagary" to "calgary" at the beginning and it never got changed, perhaps they failed notice the spelling mistake thinking that it is the same address.

Based on my experience, the fields for new address will be blank before changing (existing is grey or shaded out) and if yu did not enter anything should have given you an error highlighting, when updating; Perhaps there is nothing you did. I just checked, one can not Inadvertently change without receiving any error.

If you are still not happy, then get in touch with the call centre to verify the address is same. These would be my actions

I was really hoping to get oath invite for the Oct 26 ceremony since people's timeline was so similar to mine..but nothing... so guess, the wait continues... :-[
Applied Sept. 14. Did test Aug. 17. Decision made on Sept. 28

I was given the fingerprinting request and received the same day of my test in Octber 6th. I got those done last week however I am curious do I have to send the fingerprints received from agency to CIC or the same will be done by RCMP. Is there any action from my side which is required.
