send email to RCMP at ( civilnps@rcmp-grc.gc.ca ) and put on the subject the DCN# ( which you should have from the one who did your FP ) , then put in your email Your full name, date of birth, tel# and reason for request ( which is Citizenship ) . then they should answer you within 1 week informing you when and where they mail your result. you can call them as well but email is better as you will have backup for the answers in writing

I have also FP and i did the same as yours. I did my FP on Aug 8th and my e-case changed to DM on Sep 24

Hi

Yesterday we went for our test in Calgary office. Both me and my wife passed. The test was easy. It was followed by a 15 minutes interview. They asks you basis question about your job, family, entry / exit from Canada etc.
We are told that we will receive our oath with in 1-3 months and they will inform us through letter

Thanks

Calgarians,
Any one got oath invitation after Oct 5th?
it seems nothing new since last week

Hi
I had citizenship test on Aug 26th, and then I got fingerprint letter on September 28th that it was done on same day. Do you have any idea about processing time after that? How long does it take to get oath letter?
thanks

Hello,

I send an email to RCMP on Friday, Oct 2 regarding an update on my fingerprint and i got a reply today Monday, Oct 5 with the following emailsentences.

"We are unable to provide specific dates as to when the verification will be completed. Once the verification is complete, the result will be send to Citizenship and Immigration Canada office."

I did my fingerprint on August 26, 2015.

Any idea why its taking longer other people in this forum. Some user fingerprint were done within 3 to 7 days.

Thanks

Hello All,

I see people that had the test only in September think that they will receive oath invite very soon, it could or could not happen. I did the test on August 6 (No RQ or fingerprint and everything smooth) and still waiting for oath invite. In ECAS the status is decision made for 6 weeks already.

My timeline:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 17, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 23, 2015.
We started processing your application on January 28, 2015.
We sent you a notice on July 23, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on August 6, 2015

Hi Espinoza,

I took the exam August 11, but no news after that :o Just the "Decision Made", but no letter. I just lost my hope to be able to vote in this election.

Good luck,

Nothing here! I took the exam in August 11. Anxious to get the letter he he. I notice that during September there were 3 ceremonies 3 times a week, it seems no are just two twice a week, is that right?

The Oath Ceremony always arrives by regular mail? Should I expect an e-mail or just a note my Ecas?

I had my oath ceremony this morning and it is great to finally get it.

Thanks to all those who post on this thread for providing info and advice.

Hopefully you all get yours soon.

Hi Everyone,
My hubby got a fingerprint request today after we took the test in Calgary on Sept 23. Does anyone know how long this process takes?
Thank you all!

Hi All,
We had our oath of citizenship taken yesterday, the ceremony was nice & pleasant, the citizenship judge was so nice and gave his interesting views on becoming a citizen of this great nation. Then we all recited the oath in french and english, then they called out our names one by one to received the citizenship certificates, after that we all sang the national anthem in english and french combined. There were 90 people taking the oath in 24 different nationalities. They allowed us to take pictures with the judge so we all lined up and there was one person in the room who was kind enough to take pictures of everyone who wants to have their photos taken with the judge I did not even ask his name and I just want to thank him for taking a nice photo of us with the judge at the ceremony. The last thing to do is to secure a passport which is not so difficult to do. Thanks so much for this forum. I wish you all the best. :)
