Cic used to do oath on mondays and fridays only, now they r doing wednesdays, lets hope for more. Great job calgary :-)

Hi all,
I have a question, requesting an ATIP is this going to delay my oath ceremony invite? Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

My journey at CIC has come to an end. I am now a Canadian citizen. I took my oath yesterday at 7pm - Elliston park. It was very straightforward. Judge, a couple speeches from very important people :) just absolutely beautiful!

We said the oath out loud in English and in French. They warned you ahead of time that if one of the officials observed you not repeating the oath out loud, you will not be handed your certificate. The judge told us that the new Canadian citizens were from 51 different countries and we were 100 in total last night.

I'll keep an eye on the forum and try my best to respond to any questions you may have.

Good luck and God bless All!

Congratulations!!

I had applied on Dec 20th 2014 and appln. reached on 2nd Jan2015; returned due to less fee paid (was not knowing the fee change); sent back on 12th Jan2015 after paying the remaining; The following is my timeline on the ECAS; I had a fourth line (about the transfer to Calgary on May 9th 2015 or so) which disappeared

August applicant here... I check my mailbox everyday with lot's of hope. Get disappointed every single day. Wait 24 hours, renew my hope, get disappointed again...

hello everyone, my citizenship application is 'in process' right now. till yesterday the status showed my permanent residentship application(which was completed in 2012) along with my current citizenship application. but this morning I found my pr application part is gone. its only showing my citizenship application. does the change mean anything? is their any significance? thanks in advance for your quick reply.

Yes, same happened with my status as well. The only difference is, mine shows decision made and I have already written the test.

I think you will get your test invite in coming weeks.
