June 2 test taker.

Received invitation for oath on June 29 - Oath will be next Monday (July 27).

My ECAS did not update at all to reflect anything after the test invitation.

I checked my ecas the first thing I woke up this morning and noticed the in process line has been changed to decision made...this is the first time ever that my ecas had any movements.... I took the test on July 16. wonder how long it takes to get the oath letter

My ecas changed to oath letter sent and oath is on Aug 15,2015.

Applied : May 18,2014
Test : June 9,2015
Ecas changed to decision made: July 15, 2015
Oath letter sent : July 16,2015 but not yet recieved
Oath: Aug 15,2015

Did you check the day of your oath? It is Saturday!!!

I am currently travelling outside of Canada and my friend told me that CIC has sent me test invitation for Aug 5 '2015. I am afraid I may not be able to come back in due time. To check my options I would like to know if I defer my test date, what is the latest date I can expect for new appointment.

Also please advise study materials for test and their links.

it took 1 week to change from in process to decision made , it is good news. I passed my test july 21

Alex_78: Probably you should send them a written notice seeking another date as you are out of Canada for a valid reason, otherwise state some other valid reason so that they know that you are serious about Citizenship. This is my opinion / understanding, probably I would do the same

All the best. Test material: Read book and citizenshiptests ca as jeune suggested. If you pay $30, they make sure you learn every bit of the book online though. I liked it, probably pay $30, worth it I guess.

My application is received on Jan 16th 2015, hopefully I get my test date soon in a month or two

we did our test on July-16-2015 and passed 19/20, and the interview too very few questions, checked the dates on the passport and thats it

Man what a wait and stressfull

I am not sure why the OATHS are taking so long ,

you are so near yet are so far nothing is completed unless completed.

we planned our summer holidays but had to drop off because you don't know the unknowns

go calgary go .....
