doesnt look like Calgary can catch up

Calgary is awfully quiet. hope all the employees back from Stampede booze and start working on the applications.

when applicants in toronto getting their oath after test in 1-2 weeks, its 2-3 months in Calgary, really frustrating

Decision Made, when i last checked on Tuesday evening.

My timeline is similar to yours although my ECAS isn't updated with my test date or anything beyond that

timelines are very close indeed.

although my status shows as decision made, no updates to the content of the status. the last update to it 'started processing your application on so and so date'

I got test invitation from calgary office today in the mail.

My timeline is below:
Application received: October 20th 2014
Started processing: December 22nd or something like this
Transfered to local office, calgary: around March sometime, but then this line disappeared and I don't remember exact date
Test date: July 30th

hello friends,

Can some expert kindly explain me whats
the meaning of 'In-Process'. Does it mean
that file has been transferred to Local office.
kindly advise. If yes, can someone kindly pass me
address for CIC Local calgary office. I want to notify
them of an important change related to my application.

I took oath today. Calgary is doing oath for like hundreds of people for EACH ceremony (6 every week), so at least 1000 people become citizens every week through Calgary, and the backlog for oath is still ridiculously long. If you took the test in June you should expect the letters to arrive in August and the ceremony in September or October. For ceremonies, guests have to stand because all seats are reserved for new citizens. The backlog at this office is huge.

They are doing test and oath on same day for people outside Calgary region. It's a disaster at the moment for citizenship applications in Calgary. Concerns should be brought to MP not to the staff at this office because it is out of CIC Calgary's control for such lengthy delay.

Good luck folks!
