As I never heard of citizenship application hearing, other than for the knowledge test (who fails twice in written test), Would you mind explaining it more for everyone on this forum?

few days back on CAS, I updated my mailing address to be same as my home address. initially my Home and Mailing address were different. but when I login now it shows only one section that is my home address. does it mean my mailing address has been updated to be same as home address ???. i am confused.

You should be receiving the oath letter soon. May be its already issued. Have you checked the ecas or called CIC.

Usually 48 hours after oath. However, you can request the CIC officer who will coordinate your oath taking to send your details to Passport Canada if you require to apply for your passport earlier. If you have an upcoming trip, your request will usually be accepted. We have seen cases where new Citizens apply for passport same day of oath.

I was missing at least 1 year of resisdency due work. I was sent overseas while my family stayed in Canada. Sent back RQ last Nov. 2014 and no update since then. Requested ATIP last March this year and received after 1.5 mos. Showed that Calgay CIC already receive the RQ. Since my application is NON-ROUTINE, would take a while to receive the letter to take exam

Why did they RQ you?

In my case, it took them 1 year after receipt of RQ to schedule the test.

Godhelp, why you need entry and exit report from India. I am not sure, but I guess, it will not be that easy to obtain the same.
You can prove this by entry and exit stamps on the passports.
