Normal Processing Times from Calgary office?

Hi Guys,

Got called to write the test on June 9. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who posted practice test websites. Will report back and let you all know how it goes. Wishing everyone good news and the best of luck.

Chingas, "Got called"? Literally? You mean you received a call from CIC inviting you to test? Please clarify. Or is this your way of saying you received a letter inviting you to write the test?

Sorry about the confusion! I received a letter to do my test. There was no telephone involved lol and I just checked ecas and it's not updated. I recieved the letter yesterday - dated May 22 and thanks CIVIC

Great news ! Congrats , so you got the test notice exactly one year after your application was received . Slowly but steadily Calgary is trying to improve timelines .

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 17, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 17, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on May 2, 2014.

We sent you a notice on April 20, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

My application was received on 14 July 2014
Started processing on 8 Sept. 2014

Above dates were the only shown on my ECAS. I received a RQ last August 2014 and sent it back before the 45-day expiration period. After that, no updates from CIC. Anybody with the same time frame and received RQ? Based on the CIC latest timeline, my application will take 3 years! cheers!

Here is my CIC status:

3. We started processing your application on September 25, 2014.

I did not receive a RQ.
