We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 13, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on August 7, 2014.

Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. (They had asked for finger prints, which I provided in the end of September 2014)[/color]

Hi there,

Just wanted to update the processing time for Calgary office.

We ( family of four) applied on Oct 14, 2011 and finally after more than 38 months received an interview letter for Jan 26, 2015. I think by the time we go for ceremony it will be more than 40 months.

I know it is funny but it happened finally. yay

Hello Calgarian applicants,

I just returned form a vacation and phoned CIC today. I have been told that my application has already been transferred to Calgary office even though my e-cas show "Received" apparently not yet "IN PrOCESS".

Hopefully soon the CIC Calgary to contact me for the test.

Cheers,

Thanks smrit! I have been checking the shared status spreadsheets for 2014 September and October applicants. What I realize is that it only takes approximate 3 or 4 months for the Sydney office to dispatch the applications to their local offices now. Those whose local offices are in the GTA (Mississauga, Scarborough, etc) and Vancouver seem to have some "special privilege", because their applications are processed much faster than others. Unfortunately, we are not on the same boat.

Once the applications are transferred to Calgary, the real long wait starts. None of the 2014 Calgarian applicants are lucky enough to be invited to the test by this moment, which makes perfect senses as you guys before us are still waiting. Anyway, good luck to all!

From your research, Can you tell how long would it take to receive test date from the date it's transferred to Calgary office in general?
My file was transferred to Calgary office today.
