today I received an email in response to my case specific enquiry ,

"your application has been received and process has started, an email was sent to you acknowledging receipt of you application on December 4 2014"

but I never received that email , my time line

application received 29 September
sent case specific enquiry 10 December
ecase updated 12 December
received book and acknowledgement letter 15 December ( letter date was 4 December)
Ecase changed to "in process" and add one more line " we have started processing your application on 15 December 2014"
Received an email in response to my case specific enquiry 23 December 2014

my only question is now when will be my case transfer to my local area office ? will I see any change in my ecase when my file is transferred to Calgary(local office)?

I have been a reader of many great posts on this forum in the past week and will also like to share my timeline

We landed In Toronto, Ontario on July 12 2009. Moved to Calgary in January 2012.

We sent in our application (family) for grant of Canadian Citizenship on March 10 2014 and here is our timeline:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 10, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 10, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on April 16, 2014.

I have just called CIC and LOT date advised by the agent is July 25 2014.

Will share further updates as they become available.

Test: Jan 30 2015

Hello Calgary applicants, after a long and arduous wait I finally received the invitation to take the citizenship test. I am sharing my timeline below
so that applicants still waiting can have an estimate of when they will be invited for the test.

Application received May 22, 2013
We sent you a letter and a study book........May 22, 2013
We started processing your application on August 13, 2013.
I called CIC sometimes in June/July 2014 and I was told that my file was transferred to the local office in Calgary in March 2014.
i.e LOT March 2014
Finally today I received a letter for my test on the 27th of January 2015.

Can anyone please tell me when I may have the oath ceremony..

Hi people!

I am a Saskatoon applicants. Just a random question for the Cow Town people... What is the average processing times for the calgary applicants... from A (submission) to Z (oath).

It is about 22 months for Saskatoon... 'average' and most fall in this time range. Was wondering if Edmonton and Calgary are any faster?
