Is there anyone to call about to check in about the waiting time between passing the citizenship ship test/taking the oath? I took my test on November 6, 2015, and the people there confirmed I passed and would be contacted for the oath ceremony. It's been over 3 months... I've checked my status online, and this is what I see as of today:
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 6, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 22, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 28, 2015.
We sent you a letter on July 28, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We sent you a notice on October 14, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
So no reason that I can see for a delay. I tried calling 1-888-242-2100, but I was only presented with phone information-- I couldn't find a menu option that'd let me speak with a person. Is there a better number I can call? I just want to make sure they don't need any other paperwork from me...
