NONE EDE or EDE correct???

Which is correct between None EDE and EDE?
I have checked that both of them require the same test.
I was in EDE and result was passed .How about you guys?

EDE means excessive demand exempt and non means you are not exempted. Generally, the primary applicant is non ede and his/her spouse is EDE.
One must be a non EDE under their economic class PR application.

Economic migrants are always non-EDE. There is no question of "better"...

For economic migration (not Family Class Sponsorship) all the applicants are non-EDE. If any, principal applicant or dependants, fail the non-EDE medical, all are inadmissible.

It actually doesn't matter which is requested, as the rules used will depend on the applicant's immigration class.

Exemptions from inadmissibility on grounds of excessive demand
As per paragraphs R24, R117(g) and R139(4), excessive demand determinations under A38(1)(c) do not apply to:

spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner
a dependent child (including an adopted a child) of the sponsor, or of the sponsor’s spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner;
Convention Refugees;
protected persons.
Although such individuals must undertake a full immigration medical examination, they are not assessed for excessive demand.

I did my medical yesterday and the doctor chose non-ede. She also showed me the list of the categories she can choose from. I was surprised that there were two "worker" categories. One was under "Temporary" list and the other one was listed under general. However, to avoid any confusion she agreed to add a remark in the report stating that this application is for PR. Hopefully that'll do the trick in avoiding wrong assessment.

I am applying CEC and am on LMIA based work permit. So is my wife and kids have study permits / trvs.

They chose NON EDE but then listed "Visitor" for every one. I have seen "worker" on my friend's case who is done with his landing and similar circumstances.

i am wondering if i should ask them to rectify or it doesn't matter.

i went for an up front medical for express entry got non ede worker and my medical has passed.

Thanks uxd and Banff2015. So collectively with the experiences of both of u and others, it seems NON EDE matters.

Visitor or worker written doesn't really have impact. Either would do.
