Non SDS Study Permit without GIC

GIC is not a mandate under non SDS but from what i have heard it always strengthens your file !!!!
It depends on what you mean by "Safe". They allow you to show an education loan of 10,000 CAD instead of a GIC, as long as the bank is in the list in the visa office instruction document. GIC is always the preferred option by IRCC.
