Hello Everyone, I. received visa refusal (NON SDS) and my stats are CGPA -7.43, 2020 ECE Btech, IELTS Score - 6.5 (reading 5.5, Speaking - 6, Writing -6, L - 7.0) Dalhousie university Internetworking (Meng). What could be the potential reasons? What should I improve or change before I apply for study permit the next time?

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you are a bonafide student who will be successful in your program of study due to low language test results. Refused under R216(1)(b).

Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

Order GCMS notes. On thing is improve your IELT results. For a MEng program, your IELTs scores especially reading are too low.

The reason is clearly stated - low test results. Your ielts indicates you won't be able to cope with university level studies delivered in English. Re-do your IELTS.

I'm surprised Dalhousie gave you Masters admission with such 5.5 score. Did you use this IELTS for your admission?
