I submitted the application august 23,then i did biometrics august 26, after i passed medical exam on august 29 (i did upfront medical by the way), it automatically started eligibility review and background check. im not sure if they are actually checking or it is just a system glitch. since august 29 there is no movement.

any update so far? almost a month has passed since the BVL + start of review so i raised a webform today but i doubt they'll respond because 12 weeks havent passed yet. :/

Hi , I applied for Jan 2023 ..I was asked for Medical..which I did at Ludhiana SPS hospital..do I need to inform to cic about the medical..or hospital will send them details.

normally the hospital will send them directly. what did the hospital told you after your medical? normally they will advise you about where the results will be sent.

Hi. I got my medical passed today for Non SDS category within a week....canada ..does it mean..I am almost there..any chances of rejection now..

Most likely if u get medical request ..u r almost there...

hi, unfortunately passing the medical doesn't guarantee approval.. i've seen people who applied for non-sds passed the medical but still got rejected after 2 months of eligibility review and background checking.. still, its a case to case basis depends on your papers and status. anyways, passing the medical is also a big step. atleast you have passed 1 step ahead. continue praying and hope for the best.
