Non immigrants visitor visa from india

i had applied for visitor visa for Canada from Mumbai,india on 1/9/2017

It's almost 30 days and status is showing " your application is being processed at Canada visa office Bangalore "

I am very worried as my tickets from USA has been booked on 13th october, 2017

Please update complete information as on which date I can receive my passport

Please remove your personal details from your post. This is a public forum.

The current estimated processing time for applications from India is 35 days. As this is only an average processing time, actual processing could take much longer.

If you get passport submission requests when you're in the US, you can submit your passports to the NY/LA VAC for visa stamping. You'll need to factor in at least 8-12 days for the processed passports to be returned to you

As my passport is lying at VAC centre and hardly very limited days left

Without original passport I cannot travel to USA

My travelling date starts from 13oct and I need original passport on hand before travelling

Do you suggest to apply for withdrawal for passport as processing is taking lot of time

Hi Sumeet,

Do not withdraw your applications.

I recommend you submit letters requesting for the passports to be returned to you. You must clearly state that you are NOT withdrawing/cancelling your TRV applications.... and that you will re-submit the passports whenever the visa office needs them to make final decisions. Do include your flight tickets.

You can submit these letters to VAC Mumbai + email the Bangalore consulate as well. I suggest you do this ASAP as there are several holidays (including Diwali) shortly
