Hi Miss Bee,

I’m waiting for my Non-EE PNP PR decision. I got the nomination in Dec 2022. My application is under Comprehensive security check since Dec 2023. I received a notice of assessment re speculation and vacancy tax for my principal residence in 2024. Can you please advise if I am eligible to claim exemption? Thanks in advance.

Hey I have a question for you I also have representative and I do not have any access I recently got my AOR in march I am curious how did you track everything and when did you apply for your PR

Has anyone been through my situation?

I graduated with a bachelor degree and supposed to have a 3-year PGWP, but due to my biometric is only valid for 1 more year, they gave me 1 year PGWP with extension when I renew biometric. A year later before it expire, I submitted to extend my PGWP. I didn't attach additional explanation letter, I thought they have the note in the system. Then IRCC refused my application as they treated mine under LMIA-exempt, which my employer didn't pay the fee. Now it's been over 2 months I have to stop working and I applied for restore status and PGWP extension with a letter to explain the situation. Also I've raised multiple web forms to address the issue and ask for expediting my application, but they just responded it perfunctorily.

Also my PR is in processing, applied in May 2024. Tracker shows I passed medical and biometric, eligibility not start, background in process. But when I call them, they said I pass eligibility, background in process and criminality not start.

If I need to leave Canada, can I still wait for my PR back home?

How to define "be eligible to restore status"? I already submitted the restore status and wp extension application but still waiting for final decision. Does it count for being eligible?

There must be some way out as your PR application is in progress. I am not 100% sure. someone can help here.

I have a quick question regarding Express Entry Profile. I already have a Non Express Entry (PNP )Profile on IRCC in Progress. Can i create an Express Entry Profile ?? I tried an it gave me an error saying -> You already have an in progress application.

you need to create a new gckey account to apply for an express entry when you already have an ongoing non ee pr application. there's several posts on it on this thread just a few pages back

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed that decent portion of July applicants have received MILs, but for August applicants, there’s been virtually none. It feels like a sharp drop-off. Given that many July applicants are already getting MIL/PAL I would’ve expected at least a few updates for early August submissions by now - which has not been the case.

Was there a similar pattern in other months as well? Has there been delay in recent months for the processing? If so, does anyone know of reasons behind it?
