@Miss bee My PGWP expires in November 2025. I received my AOR recently and considering the processing time of 21 months, I'll have my PR by April/may 2026 timeframe. From your previous response, your suggestion was to apply for BOWP ~3 months prior to the PGWP expiration. My questions is more for my dependents (spouse and kids). If I apply for BOWP in August 2025 (90 days before PGWP expires), I believe I'll have to wait for my BOWP to be approved in order to apply for my dependents permits (open work and study) as their permits also expired in November 2025.

@Miss bee- I have a quick question regarding the IMM5669 form; under the education history section, I forgot to mention one gap year in my education. I was preparing for higher study exams during that time period. My application was returned once because of some missing documents. At that time, this was not flagged by IRCC. I applied in August for the 2nd time; do you think I should fill out a webform to correct this information now, or can it be updated later on?

Hello guys, I have a little issue. I submitted my application last month and I uploaded a digital photo but forgot to upload a the receipt and a separate document that has the photo information. Is this going to be an issue and will they return my application? I haven’t gotten AOR yet. Thank you @Miss bee

I am also currently in the same situation. So is your TRV expiring too at the same time as the expiry of your work permit? Will we have to renew our TRV along with the PGWP/BOWP and submit it to IRCC through webform?

Hi @Miss bee , I have a non express PR application. I got nominated by my province and have my AOR and PAL. I should be expecting my FD this month. I have been offered another job under the same NOC I got my nomination for. Can I change my job? This won't have any effect on my application? and if I do change my job, should I inform the IRCC through a web form?

Hi @Miss bee, I have applied for Non-Express entry PNP along with my family on 21 July 2024. Our timeline is as below. I am currently on a closed work permit which will expire in September 2025. The nomination letter from the province mentions the name of my employer. Am I eligible for BOWP or should I be applying for the extension of the closed work permit. Kindly direct me on this and also when should I apply? Thanks in advance for your support!

Biometrics given: 09 Jan 2025

Hi @Miss bee,

It is disheartening to say that I have got my application returned today with the following message


“A review of your application indicates you do not meet the requirement of the instructions with respect to the completion of your application or, the requirements of Regulation (R) 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) because the following item(s) are missing:



· A completed Supplementary Information- Your Travels [IMM5562]



Regulation (12) of IRPA states:



“If the requirements of sections 10 and 11 are not met, the application and all documents submitted in support of the application shall be returned to the applicant.”



As your application does not meet the requirements of R 10 of IRPA, it is considered incomplete and is being returned to you along with your processing fee. A copy of your application has not been retained.”

In the PR portal, I see all of my documents as incomplete. Does it mean I will have to pay again when I submit my application? Also I applied under OINP and my nomination has expired, how can I request for an extension?

Even if there is one document has error. In the application, they will mark all the documents as incomplete i think. Did you fill all of the travels in your travel history form?

@Miss bee or to who ever had a similar experience.

I got nominated for OINP international student stream and I applied for my PR based on that nomination last November. I’m still waiting for AOR as well so pretty much early stages. I remembered last week that my PGWP expires next upcoming October and it doesn’t look like I will get my PR by then so I planned on applying for closed work permit since my nomination supports that.

When filling out IMM5710, I got to employment history, then I realized that when I applied for my PGWP and filled IMM5710 back then I added a one month employment in a restaurant back in 2021. This puts me in two possible situations, one being that my PR application is probably not the sharpest since it didn’t have that one month employment period and two I’m not sure if i should put it now for the IMM5710 closed work permit.

Note that I literally worked there for maybe less than two months and got paid by paycheques every week or so. So I would like to know what you think I should do regarding that
