Hello Everyone,

I have applied in Non Express entry after receiving the PNP nomination for Ontario Masters Graduate Stream.

Applied in Non Express: 5 March 2024

Medical: Passed on July 26, 2024
Biometrics uploaded: July 26, 2024
ADR: They asked me to resubmit my educational degree and employment letter in ADR
Submitted the Additional documents on 31 July 2024
August 1, 2024: We are reviewing the additional documents you have provided.
Background check in process

Can anyone tell that how much more time it will take for any next step?
They are reviewing the file from 1st August.
Will they directly send me the portal 1 or anything else?

Hi @Miss bee, first I want to thank you for all your help during this process. I received AOR and BIL (on October 7th) for my application submitted on May 27th, and I just got back from my biometrics appointment. I had 2 more questions:

1. I did a medical exam when I applied for study permit in 2022 and I have the documents for it. However I didn't add the medical exam documents with my application. Shall I update it now through webform or wait for IRCC to request it? Will they be able to find out about my previous medical exam using my passport number?

2. Now that my non EE PNP application is in processing, what shall I do if I also receive an ITA for my express entry CEC profile?

Thanks a lot for all your help and advice!!

Hi @Miss bee,

I have just received my AOR (Applied May 28) and the request for an updated Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature .

according to that, I need to print, sign, and scan it, correct?

I could link my application successfully, however, it doesn't show me where to attach that document on my account, should I send it through webform?

Thank you.

Hi Glad you received AOR. Just curious what did you sign it as when you submitted it initially? Did you type your name ? What do they mean by original signature?

I submitted my non-Express Entry application along with my family (spouse and child). In the section for addresses over the past 10 years, I only provided my permanent address. Similarly, my husband worked in Bangalore for a few years but did not include his PG accommodation. I contacted IRCC and obtained a Temporary File Number to add to a web form. However, the IMM5669 form I downloaded from the website does not match the one I already submitted; the one I submitted contains both my and my spouse's information, while the downloaded version only has space for my details. Has anyone successfully updated the IMM5669 using the web form?

If you ever done medical exam for your any Canada visa application, you can use same medical exam for your PR application even if it’s expired. You should send E Medical sheet through webform and update them asap so that they don’t send you new medical request again.
If you receive invitation for express entry, you can apply 2 PR applications. Note that you have to pay application fees again for new application and attach all required documents for express entry. If your first PR application get approved, second one will be automatically withdrawn by CIC .

Yes fill , print and sign it and then send it through webform if there is no option in your GCKEY.

Hi @Miss bee i hope you are having a great day. I have some general questions if you dont mind. How likely could IRCC reject an application based on NOC if im already nominated by a province and they approved the NOC code. and my other question is what does the background check - security consist of when they do it, and do they check social media as part of the process? Do i need to make my linkedIn up to date or my facebook?

I`ve have lost my hopes on this PR process... It`s so unfair. We took 2 years to be nominated by BCPNP and then we applied with nomination in a Non express entry paper based PR. We applied in February 2023,
AOR August 2023.
Everything is green expect the background check for my spouse that is going on since november 2023.
We paid thousands of dollars for this process it`s definetely not free. The service is horrendous. This is not a first world service should look like. CBSA and IRCC should respect us.
We have no criminal record, provided all documents and we are living in Canada for 4 years... They are checking internal stuff in CBSA for an year. They already have all the information and never make a decision. I contacted MP everything and it`s no use. I hope you guys have a better luck.

I also see a lot of people that is really anxious about 2024 aplications... I hope not, but it can potentially take years, so be mentally prepared for the worse...
I have similar situation , It’s been 17 months since Background check started for my & my family and no detection is made yet . It’s really furstrating

I signed on the pdf, the thing is that my wife was unemployed for a couple months so they are saying there should not be gaps in the work history.

@Miss bee should I type unemployed on that period of time on the form?

does anyone know where can I get the form? the link provided by IRCC doesn't work:

https://cicintranet.ci.gc.ca/connexion/tools-outils/form/documents/pdf/imm5669enu.pdf

Thank you!
