Anyone still waiting for portal 1 after background check has been completed? It's been one week for me since COPR number appeared on tracker. Still no update.
We have got Portal 1 today!!!!!!
Final decision in GC-key from 20th Oct updated to Your application in progress
Background completed and COPR details are in AST and Portal 1 at the same time today late morning!!!

When did you do biometrics? Is biometrics dine before AOR or it comes together?

Help, I need direction. I applied through IRCC portal. Do I have to get BIL or AOR before I can link my account?
Depending on type of security screening. The comprehensive from 6 months to 2 years

I Received Ecopr October 5th through AIP Inland NB. Waiting for PR card.
I have a new job offer in another province, I wanted to check if I quit my current job and change the province.
- Would it drag me to any complications with IRCC ? or maybe the current employer raise a complaint.. and then this will have impact on the PR card application ?
- What do you recommend? is anyone gone through the same situation ?
- Do I wait until I receive my PR card ( knowing that my friends can mail it to me once received )?

Once you get COPR you are a permanent resident. PR card is just a travel document. However as it is a PNP, the province can raise an issue in the future as you have committed to staying in that province as part of your PNP. I would recommend staying in the same province for a 1 or 2 years before moving.
