i had 2 or so months between PAL and getting approval. It's not uncommon for months to go by with no status update. They are likely doing background/security checks.
Please keep your current PR application and check with your province! I am afraid that the Province may refuse to offer you the second nomination regardless that you are eligible. I am frustrated that this one will take a long time, and again I'll be on the implied status and should apply and wait for a new wp. Even considering the extra cost, if I don't get the non-express entry one before the expiry of my wp, which is 11 months, I will have again to pay for a new permit
Apologies - yes this is completely true. SINP told me they'd tear my Non-EE certificate up if I tried this strategy.
I am actually curious how @ninok obtained two nominations. Usually, when filling out forms for nomination, you need to select whether you were previously nominated, and I believe also to select if you have a currently active nomination. At least, that's how I remember. I withdrew my previous pnp nomination (EE) in order to get issued non-EE pnp nomination.
well, i dont have the second one yet. I have NOI and yes you are right in the application they ask about the previous nomination and application number and other stuff.
you had the express entry nomination and they said they'll cancel the other one? :-/
