Hello just a quick question.

Do we need our nomination certificate VALID when we apply for BOWP? My PGWP will expire next year, and I have submitted my Non-EE PR application already. The expiration of my nomination certificate will be around the same that I will receive my AOR (given the waiting times today). I'm just curious because by the time I need to apply for BOWP (if I don't get my eCOPR before my work permit expires), my nomination will be expired already.

Please advise. thanks

Did you receive a Work Permit Support Letter with your nomination? If yes, Does your Work Permit Support Letter have any restrictions on it?

You can submit the expired nomination certificate along with AOR to prove that your PR application is in progress.

No work permit support letter because I believe those are given to people with permits that are expired or is expiring this year? No idea

Oh? Okay! Thanks for this info. When do you think is the best time to apply for BOWP? (Although I'm still hoping to get ecopr before I even resort to applying BOWP before my pgwp expires)

Those are regularly given to people that apply through a PNP stream based on a job offer. Check your nomination letter and make sure that you do not have employer restrictions. If you do, you can't apply for BOWP, you have to apply for closed work permit.

Oh I think for Alberta Opportunity Stream, I'd have to apply/request for it separately? I have no employment restrictions or whatsoever in my nomination certificate.

Did you get any ADR with AOR

HI @Miss bee ,

Hope you are doing well. Yesterday all checks on my account passed on PR tracker, and today the COPR number was added to my PR tracker.
What does this mean and what is the difference between COPR and ECOPR? Can I work officially on COPR, even though there is no document and only a number on the tracker.
I haven't received a portal or any email either.

Hi everyone and @Miss bee! I have a question about EE and Non-EE processing times. I understand that EE applicants receive their AORs immediately, while Non-EE applicants typically wait at least five months. Once a Non-EE applicant receives their AOR, does their processing time align with that of an EE applicant who received their AOR at the same time? In other words, after receiving an AOR, does the processing time become the same for both EE and Non-EE applicants?

Congratulation on that. when did you receive your AOR if you don't mind sharing?
