what is the right time to update IRCC about marriage? IRCC doesn't recognize marriage without the marriage certificate and the Ontario government takes more than two months to provide a marriage certificate. I applied my PR on September 15th and I am expecting to receive AOR within two weeks based on current processing timeline. If I raise the webform now to update IRCC about change in my marital status, IRCC will give 30 days to submit all documents and I won't be able to provide marriage certificate within that timeline. Shall I just get my AOR first and then update IRCC about marriage? Will it work? @Miss bee
No but you should submit new form with correct information asap when you get AOR .
You are supposed to let IRCC asap when you get married. Once they acknowledge they will send you kit with documents to fill for your spouse and send them . You are supposed to submit pcc and medical as well .
@Miss bee I have the PCC for my spouse and we will be getting medical done soon but we are facing issues with marriage certificate. How should I deal with IRCC about not having the marriage certificate because government of Ontario takes more than two months to provide certificate?
Thank you for your response Miss bee, just a follow up question please, on the mpnp website it says that you need a full time permanent job for the skilled worker in manitoba and worked 6 months which is the one i was nominated under. it doesnt include anything regarding TEER. so you can even apply with teer 4 or 5. It will still cause issues?
If they request you can send letter of explanation along proof that you applied already and it will take time . Once you get it send it through webform.
Will they ask for another documents as well whenever they'll need ?? Just asking
Hi, i have inquiry regarding my birth certificate. I have applied in master's stream in non express entry for my PR. I have different name in my birth certificate and for that I attached affidavit with my PR file. But it is 2 year old and I recently came to know that affidavite is only valid for 6 months. I was in india recently so I applied to change my name in birth certificate, which is still in process and not sure if they will change it or not. So, I also got new affidavit before coming back to canada in case they do not provide me new birth certificate with my current name. This process may take couple of weeks.
So, what should I do in this situation?
if i do not get new birth certificate should i raise webform and submit affidavite before or after receiving AOR?
And as i mentioned above i have been to india after I submitted my PR file. So. In this case, do I need to provide PCC or any other document through webform?

Please, guide me how to change name in birth Certificate in India. My son has also same issue of name change. In all documents except birth certificate he has one name but in birth certificate has different name. So, I request you to provide details how to change ne in birth certificate, please
Every state has their own rules for changing name. For some bigger cities you can even do it online or you can go to municipal area where your son was born and ask them. For me personally, i was born in village and unfortunatly there was some lazy old lady as officer. So, she was just refusing to change name without any explanation or guiding to my grandfather. Then, I legally gave them application in hand, about which I came to know from my friend who is also officer in different area. You can also ask to some lawyers.
