I have applied fpr Non express PR in Aug 2024 but haven't recieved any update yet. The nomination is about to expire next month . Do i need to apply for the certficate's extension ??
please clarify as i haven't recieved my work permit yet too so am on under applied status .

It has been almost 2 years (730 days) now since the application submission, I would say this system is just like garbage, it is annoying, torturing, unfair, and frustrating.
CANADA is not the country where I entered in 2019. It was beautiful, inspiring, clean, and developed,... sorry to say that but it is ruined now.

Hello everyone,

I applied for a Non-Express Entry PR program on August 16, 2024, but I haven't received the AOR yet. While reviewing my submitted application, I realized that I had not added my children’s information in the IMM5406 application form for myself and my wife.

After noticing this mistake, I quickly obtained my Temporary File Number (TFN) from IRCC yesterday and submitted the corrected forms for my wife and me. I downloaded the forms from the official IRCC website, filled them out on my PC, printed them, signed them, scanned them back to my PC, and submitted them to IRCC through the webform.

I am now worried about whether I was too late to do that, whether IRCC will accept these updated forms or if they will consider my application incomplete and return it to me.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Will they process my application with the corrections I submitted, or should I expect it to be returned as incomplete?

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem and it was returned. Thus i had to resubmit, and this will cost me 5 months additional, extremely angry. But at least you submitted an updated 5406. Hopefully you have a better chance. Good Luck.

Same reason, I missed my child's information on the form 5406, I missed that part when filling out form and thus they returned my application. I resubmitted 1 week later. Its extremely frustrating how they treat applications.

@Miss bee , please confirm or any advise please. We got an email about additional information required from IRCC. At some point way back years ago, my wife got miscarriage, and we have 3 kids.. but it says on the birth certificate of our youngest child she is the fourth child. IRCC is asking for another document for the 4th child. Do we need to get a document for the miscarriage or just written explanation will do? Thank you!

As long as your application was submitted while your Provincial Nominee Certificate was valid, your application remains valid even if the certificate expires afterward.

Hi folks,

Just want to share something I learned: PAL is typically a positive sign. I received my PAL along with the MED request, which I’d say is at the early stage of my application. Some posts mentioned that this means nothing or doesn’t have any useful meaning. But I called IRCC and they advised my eligibility has passed. SO even though eligibility shows nothing in the tracker and you receive it pretty soon, it would still be a good sign. Lets stay positive!

I submitted my application on Nov 20, 2024. But in my imm0008 SCH4, I put my name on the signature part but the date I put is June 26, 2024 which is the date I filled the form.

Do you think the date matters even though they said signature is not needed because we signed electronically at the end before submitting the application.

Parabéns!!! I applied in March under AIP and still waiting, eligibility is done, info sharing is done, my background check changed to "not applicable" in november 19th and nothing since then. I hope to hear something regarding FD, P1 and P2 in January.

Hello Everyone,

I have a small issue here and i'm not sure if anyone is able to help. I feel so lost whenever I open this thread and read through it, I have no clue what Portal 1 and Portal 2 are for example.

I applied for PMP non express entry last November and it says " Submitted " under status, is it still too early for me to go through these portals or is that phase called portal 1?

I have not applied for the work permit extension that I received thru my email since my Work Permit expires January 2026 and I'm hoping this all ends with an acceptance before my WP expires.

@Miss bee I need some help here, I got my ECOPR issued yesterday, Jan 07 2025, but it will expiry tomorrow Jan 09 2025.
Should I do something? Why did they give me ECOPR for 2 days only?!
