We received a NOI for Ontario. The application fee is costly (1500 CAD) and so I am tempted to wait for the express entry pool selection score to come down to our points level (474) instead of applying for a provincial nomination. The minimum from last week's previous draw was about 486 (12 April).
What is the likelihood of the points coming down to 474 in the next few months?
From what I can gather, if you are given a NOI from a province you should jump at it (despite that cost).
We would likely settle in Ontario even if we were selected without a nomination.
However, I sense we are also on the brink of getting selected from the pool, even without a nomination and so 1500 CAD may only gain us a few months...
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Cole
