Hi there, I am interested in applying for AINP. I notice that the CRS score is rather low (like 300).

(1) I wonder if there is any reason for such low score? If so, it should attract loads of applicants?

(2) Do I need to select Alberta as the interested province to stay (or all provinces will do)?

Hi

(1) You actually cannot just apply for AINP. Alberta has to select you from the EE pool and send you a NOI. Only then can you apply.

(2) All provinces will do

Thanks for your reply.

I have studied the website of AINP, and notice that their requirements are generally simple. Are there any characteristics that will more likely attract Alberta for selection?

If you see their selection criteria mentioned in the website, you will get to know more. As far i remember:

1. Tie in Alberta
2. Job offer from Alberta
3. I forgot the 3rd one

I think the main thing is having an in-demand Job experience.
If your job experience is in demand in Alberta you have a very good chance
look through this thread and you would realize applicants with certain NOCs are getting nominations.

I got a nomination....No ties in Alberta...No job offer.... my NOC is 1221.
I noticed the NOCs related to Administrative jobs like 1221, 1241 and Accounting technicians 1311 got NOI and some nomination.

It is not limited to these NOCs, I just used them as examples because they are the ones that came to mind

Thanks for reply. My noc is also 1221, gonna create the EE profile soon!

I also have no ties in Alberta, but hopefully I will be nominated too! Finger-crossed.

Can we just appreciate AINP for helping out those with CRS as low as 300...it just amazing I don't know what would've been our fate.

I'm also hearing the rumour about next AINP 500cad application fee. Whatever be the case I'll gladly pay if their selection process and timeline remains the same.
