Hi, I am wondering if I can get help to determinate correct NOC code.
My job title is Health Records Clerk which can be found in NOC 1411. However, most of my duties from job offer can be found in NOC 1253.
Based on my job title and duties I am NOC 1411 or 1253?
Below are my job duties:
1. Provides frontline reception to receive customers into the department in a friendly and helpful manner.
2. Assure timely dispatch and return of health records to and from user departments through direct communication and maintenance of the chart locator system.
3. Sort and file health records and loose reports according to prescribed filing and storage methods.
4. Assemble charts in accordance with the pre-determinated order of assembly
5. Perform quantitative analysis prior ro and following completion by the physician
6. Manage the deficiency component of the chart management system
7. Ensure the effective control, storage and destruction of records according to prescribed hospital policy & procedure
8. Prepare and maintain list of incomplete records for physicians in accordance with hospital policy
9. Monitor compliance with Record Completion Policy and inform appropriate parties accordingly
10. Answer inquires and handle complaints in cooperative, non-argumentative manner
11. Ensure effective retrieval of health records to meet the needs of health care providers.
12. Cross-check numerical assignments with patient records, to ensure the elimination of duplicate health records
13. Ensure timely distribution and availability of reports for health care providers
14. Ensure the neatness and repair of health records in Microfilm, Inactive/Expired Perm and Permanent File
15. Retrieve health records and microfilm as required for medico-legal and correspondence purposes
16. Participate in rotation of clerical duties, including telephone coverage as required.
17. Inform Coordinator or Manager of any equipment failures or required services.
18. Retrieve records from emergency department, inpatient units and other clinical areas of the hospital
19. Prepare the records for scanning following the guidelines of PHIPA and MGH health records policies
20. Accurately scan the prepared records into Cerner Provision Document imaging system by ensuring the clarity and accuracy of scanned images
