NOC Title vs Actual Title

Hi,

Can anyone please clear one thing.

I am intending to apply under 0111-Financial Manager category whereas my actual title is Sr. Officer Operational Risk. Someone told me I can't apply in this category since I don't have "Manager" title. Although my Job responsibilities are very much similar to the Financial Manager responsibilities.

Is this really a case? Please assist.

It's your job duties that really matters, not a job title.

It doesn't matter what is your job title , of course to some level ,

It's only matter your job description and duties , it must covers 80 % or more of these of the NOC Job .

Dear - Just look for Job Description as defined in NOC Occupation. Your reference letter should speak of similar duties to qualify for the category. If you have ppl working under you and you are managing them, you are Manager. Good luck
