Hi Guys,
So i have been working for a human resources research and advisory firm, I want to apply for express entry under the code NOC skill level B technical sales.
My duties match the skills on the skill level including these skills that differ from normal sales to technical sales.
- Promote sales to existing clients,
- Assess clients’ needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs,
- Develop reports and proposals as part of sales presentation to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services.
- Estimate costs of installing and maintain equipment or service
- Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment. ( we have programs )
Basically, I sell Research, consultancy services and diagnostic surveys, and HRIS systems to human resources. we then take the data and put it into a readable formats and explain the results to clients and show them how to fix the issues they get from the results. I also sell the use of several diagnostic programs and surveys. Also we sell 3 year training courses for human resource individuals.
I work along side a team of 12 other sales execs who do the same.
My job is a very niche industry, you need an extensive knowledge around Human resources, Although i was taught through training and mentor programs.
i saw this earlier : The letter from your employer Marcus Evans, dated January 23rd 2013, indicated you were employed as a Sales executive from September 14th 2011 to April 30th 2012. The responsibilities listed on the letter of reference seem to match the lead statement and main duties of NOC 6221. And that seems to be accepted or acknowledged as technical.
My company are willing to put down that i tick all the boxes, i just worried this doesn't class under technical sales.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance!
Oli
