Job Summary
Plan and execute quality assurance for products, services, and project deliveries to ensure that all risks are identified and considered and there are no previously unrecognized quality issues arising from lack of adequate quality coverage.
Operational
Plan, coordinate and ensure quality measures and standards are maintained through the delivery lifecycle for products, services and projects.
Design, develop and document test strategies, test plans and test cases based on Business requirements document and specifications for products and services
Define suitable validation requirements to assess proper functioning of the company’s products and services.
Identify product faults/malfunctions, document findings and escalate to the relevant product development teams as required.
Work collaboratively with test teams composed of staff drawn from various IT, business units and 3rd party resource providers.
Maintain the facilitator role for the testing team; keep team focus on tasks at hand and clear roadblocks
Lead and monitor the testing execution for each sprint (Agile) or testing phase.
Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios and test cases, track and report on testing activities.
Work with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to define the project's testing methodology and manage the test execution for small to large sized projects.
Monitor and follow up on product/service modification initiatives and track successes.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on potential problem areas based on historical information gathered from previous tests conducted.
Review all product documentation (including instruction manuals and corporate website content) to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness, and to mitigate risks.
Ensure all ISO 9001:2015 requirements are met as related to the quality assurance processes.
Provide guidance and manage the performance of subordinates (where applicable).
Liaise with relevant unit/team/function in carrying out all relevant activities.
Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager, Quality Assurance.

Offer creative and innovative solutions to complex testing issues.
Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines.
