Hi

I am filling in my simplified application and have a query regarding my NOC number. My job title is QA Engineer. The NOC code that matches my job closest is 2283, that of a software tester. In the description of this job, under main duties I currently perform 3 of the 4 duties stated there. Is it a requirement to do all the 4 duties under the NOC I'm claiming?

Thanks

nope, i think if the duties u do match that of the listed in the noc duty requirements and u satisfy most of them, u dnt need to worry.
u dnt need to satisfy ALL of them.

OCanada is right.

Just one query related to this, comes to my mind, In occupation column should it be written Software Quality Assurance Engineer or a title matches with NOC, like Software Tester?

I have 2 examples with me of my friends. One friend has written the Occupation which is similar in examples of NOC 213 like 'Information System Manager' and other friend has written his company job title which can't be found in NOC 213 like 'Software Product Manager'

Any thoughts????

I'm applying through Campbell Cohen and they had no issue with me stating 'Quality Assurance Engineer' as my occupation title and my NOC as 2283.
