NOC / Job Letter - Issue

Hi Every1, I'm in a bit of a confusing situation.

One of the companies provided the reference letter with duties 100% matching what's stated on CIC website (wording for wording). And I had mistakenly forgotten about it at the time, now I left that company on bad terms, it would be hard to request another modified letter.

The job offer and payslips or anything else is available, I'm afraid the offer letter doesn't include the duties as well, only the title.

Any suggestions on how to convince the VO ? Or shall I only provide the offer letter, payslips & attach LoE ?

Thanks

The way I see it, you either need to get a new reference letter with the proper content or get a letter from a colleague and attach offer letter, payslips, etc. but by doing this, you also need to show proof that you asked for a reference letter but your employer refused, better to avoid all this crap IMO as it will add to unnecessary additional documentation. Why would you copy-paste exact duties from the IRCC website?

Thanks for the help.

I initially sent the duties and requested them to paraphrase & combine with new ones.
I received it after a long period and at the time I had tons of other things on my mind and hence forgot to verify what they wrote and accepted it as is.

I might request a new one but they will procrastinate and maybe deliver it after weeks.. I can attach the E-mail i'll send and explain they're not reverting as u said..
I also have a stamped visa from UAE on my passport with the name of that company and my title..
idk honestly :/

You can never rely on HR or whoever else will issue the reference letter for these things. I typed out the entire thing in my case and my employers just verified, printed, signed and gave it to me. Even one of my employers for whom I am claiming points for is from UAE. Are you in UAE now or already left?

Well lesson learned too late now.. my other 2 letters are fine and the very first company is now acquired by a new one it will be even more hectic to request them to modify again,(Yes same mistake happened with them too) I'll put them in personal history not work experience.
Yes I'm still in Dubai. I'll give it a try with that company again..

If you are still in the UAE, get the proper letter as you still have a chance to ask for it in person, do whatever you can to get it. Avoid the colleague letter, payslip scenario like the plague as your application might get outright rejected if IRCC is unable to verify your work experience. Did you get ITA already? What's your score?

The document is signed and stamped on letter head .. would IRCC maybe call them to verify or immediately reject on grounds of suspicious / fraudulent letter ?
Plus I have the UAE visa stamped on my passport.

Your reference letter with copy-pasted duties will lead to rejection 100%, there is no way your actual work duties will be exactly the same. Those duties mentioned on the IRCC website are more like guidelines as to what a person under a particular NOC is most likely to do at their job.

Also, I don't think IRCC will ever contact a company directly, there are a ton of third-party companies whose sole purpose is to do background verifications and there are different companies present in different countries that do this. I am pretty sure IRCC hires these companies to verify work experience and other things.

I'll try to get it.. if not I'll have a senior or a colleague write it and sign, and provide as much proof as I can.
Thanks :)
