Hi All

I came to Canada in Sep 2013 with the closed WP saying "Comp Analysis and Consultants".

With the renewal of my WP in Sep 2014, I am designated as a Senior Project Manager. With the duties of meeting with the client, handling of daily tasks of off shore and onsite team,Appraisals, leave approvals, release planning and task assignments of the team.

Need help in finding which NOC I should opt for

NOC 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants
or
NOC 0213 Computer and information systems managers

Please help......

Thanks Infosec

So the NOC that we have to choose is the one that you are right now ? Don't we have to mention the NOC we were from last one year ?

Thanks

Dear,

My apologies if I am giving a stupid answer.....My understanding is that you have completed one year with your earlier NOC and now you have been sort of promoted to handle more responsibilities.....and hence updated NOC in your new WP.....In you refrence letter you should have these two NOC codes mentioned seperately with the durations....Also in the schedule 8 form you will mention both these codes seperately as we have to give details for last 3 years......and then in the genric form you mention ur current NOC and this is what you will continue doing.....Since both these NOC codes are from 0 or A, VO will not have any issues....also the language requirements are the same for both and so you would be covered from that perspective also......

Exactly. You need to provide both NOCs if the job duties changed, and to list them as separate positions, and your letter of employment needs to cover both.
