Thank you! But I’m asking regards to closed work permits. Since the NOC is not specified in the WP, how would you know which NOC did your employer used when they applied for the WP. As the WP NOC should match your NOC in your PR application right?
If it is not specified on your WP, I have no idea whether it is even asked for ICT work permits (LMIA-exempt). NOCs are asked by ESDC - not IRCC - for LMIA applications, that is why the NOC is listed on an LMIA-approved TWPs. You can ask your HR person who is responsible, but I think it´s a non-issue in your case. Either way, when you apply for PR, the stakes for selecting the correct NOC are much much higher, and you still have to choose the NOC based on your job duties and responsibilities. ESDC and IRCC evaluate NOCs differently for different purposes, so it may not be that uncommon that a slightly different NOC is used on a work permit than claimed on a PR application.
