Hi everyone,
I am bit confused, actually i have been working in a convenience store from May 2018 as assistant manager. But i did not had any previous costumer care or cashier experience before that and area of study was also computers. Will it be valid experience or not.

I check NOC 0621, i am worried about Employment requirements described there. It says
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the product or service being sold may be required.
  • Several years of related retail sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility are usually required.

You have to chose your NOC based on job duties and responsibilities, not job title..

I suspect you chose that NOC by job title, and would suspect that you do not perform most of the job duties under NOC 0621. I would recommend looking at 6211 instead.

@jes_ON, my duties and responsibilities match with NOC 0621. However, I worked for about 1.5 years (Jan. '15 - Feb. '16) while studying the first three semesters of my undergraduate degree (Jan. '15 - Dec. '18). Since the minimum requirement is high school completion, would this affect my chances in any way? Any suggestions is much appreciated. Have you heard of any refusals or successful stories with similar background (i.e. experience earned in 0621 or managerial roles before first degree earned)?
