Hi, I am planning to use NOC 2233 which is "Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians". This is the only NOC that's matching a bit of my job duties but I have a bachelors in Mechanical engineering and Masters in Industrial engineering.

The employment requirements states

"Completion of a two- or three-year college program or equivalent in industrial engineering technology, pulp and paper technology, plastics technology, textile technology, manufacturing technology or a related discipline is usually required for industrial engineering or manufacturing technologists."

1. Now, can I use this NOC or am I over qualified ?
2. Does Express Entry care about the degree requirements or only if the Job duties match a particular NOC Code?
3. Also I read something about Regulated Jobs. This NOC is regulated. What does that mean?

Appreciate your help

Thank you

1- doesnt matter. It's a minimum requirement
2- not sure but a good match in both is better
3- you may need to do extra testing there to make sure you re up to par with canadian standards and laws regulatins those jobs before doing that job there. You can google it to learn more
