Good day Admins/ Fellow applicants,

I am working in Canada for 6 months already under NOC 9617 in Quebec. As I have read in some forums/search engines that only A, B, C and 0 are mostly qualified for PR immigration. Can a NOC D acquire chance in getting a PR either in Quebec or other provinces? Your response is highly appreciated. Thank you.

start by looking here as 9617 is specifically mentioned http://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/immigrating/ainp-eds-semi-skilled-criteria.aspx but looks as though you do need an employer support. BC has similar options.

Thank you for the reply Bs65 and also providing this helpful link.

I would like to make a follow up question, Is It okay to apply for BC or Alberta PNP if you're currently working in Quebec? Does the current employment matters in applying at Alberta? Thank you once again

You need to be employed in the province you are applying through for programs where employer support is required. So you can't e employed in Quebec and apply through Alberta. You would need to find a job in Alberta.
